We aim to improve and develop our efficiency, quality and environmental performance by providing better quality and reliable services for our guests and human health. All our activities are based on our strategy to ensure that both our employees and the local community live in a healthier and cleaner environment. ENERGY EFFICIENCY POLICY (P.07) ●We use our energy efficiently and set targets to reduce our energy consumption in order to protect our world from potential dangers. ●For this ●In order to fulfill both our responsibilities towards nature and our legal obligations, we follow national and international standards, laws and regulations, voluntarily carry out activities to reduce energy use and/or continuously improve our energy consumption performance, and monitor the results of our efforts. ●We set targets and include energy efficiency in our training programs to ensure the participation of our employees. ●We care about collaborating with all our stakeholders to create common goals and results in energy management. We strive to maintain our interaction with our guests, employees, visitors and all our business partners in order to reach a total level of awareness and consciousness on these issues. ●We try to research, find, purchase and use suitable energy efficient products, equipment, gear and technology alternatives. ●We aim to document our Energy Management System, disseminate it to all our departments, update, review and continuously improve it when necessary. ●We assess energy risks or emergencies that may arise, such as energy shortages, and plan the measures that can be taken. SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT POLICY (P.08) Our suppliers/solution partners in line with the sustainable supply approach ●Quality Assurance Management Systems, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, internationally recognized environmental and sustainability ethics/certificates, ●No harmful effects on the environment in production and supply, and compliance with environmental legislation, ●Using/consuming resources appropriately, without harming the natural life and ecosystem, and complying with hunting bans, ●Working to minimize and properly manage its waste, using less packaging in product packaging or offering alternatives to bulk packaging, ●Offer alternatives that are environmentally friendly, economical, local, ethical, recyclable or recycled materials, organic, bio, vegan, not tested on animals, free of harmful chemical components, etc, ●Local and domestic production/service providers, ●We attach importance to products/services that reflect/promote the cuisine, traditions and culture of our country/region and communicate this perspective to our stakeholder suppliers. We strive to create efficient purchasing opportunities together with our suppliers and aim to reduce the environmental impacts arising from procurement processes. HARASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION PREVENTION POLICY (P.09) At KUGU URLA, people of different races, languages, genders, forms of worship, skin colors, sexual orientation, nationalities, beliefs, disabilities, ages and opinions work together in harmony. Any kind of discrimination and/or harassment by any employee, manager, consultant, guest, student, invitee, supplier of goods and services and non-employees of the organization will not be tolerated. Any behavior that constitutes direct or indirect discrimination or harassment is strictly prohibited. The behaviors in question are;- Any verbal, physical or sexual advances, inexcusable physical contact, proposals or touching that are not approved by the other party; - Comments about a person's personal appearance, body or lifestyle related to a person's race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, disability or any other characteristic; - The employment status of the employee, Statements or threats made in a manner that implies, associates, or reasonably could lead to an implication of a link between promotion potential, salary status, or grades and permitting sexual harassment; - Graphic that is obscene or discriminatory in the workplace, relating to race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic, lewd stories, jokes, innuendos or comments about race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, disability or any other personal characteristic,- Verbal assaults, - Mobbing (harassment). The emotional and/or physical relationship of any employee of the URLA staff with any other employee, or with a manager or employee that goes beyond the manager-employee relationship and results in favoritism of the manager or employee in question over others, or attempts such a relationship, or shows intentions to do so, or engages in behavior that can be interpreted in this way: Unwarranted accusations, insults, general harassment or emotional abuse directed at a specific person by a group rather than an individual. Retaliation; No employee, job applicant or any other person may be subjected to restraint, interference, coercion or retaliation for counseling regarding a sexual harassment matter, filing a sexual harassment complaint, or serving as a witness or panel member in a sexual harassment investigation, provided that it is done in good faith. Acts of retaliation are a violation of the Hotel harassment policy and will be dealt with accordingly. Malicious and unwarranted accusations A person whose accusations turn out to be malicious and false will be subject to investigation/investigation under the Disciplinary Regulations.
